My little lentil turned one this morning. I'm... full of emotions.

or shrivel up and crumble to dust.

I had one night this week of 10 hours of sleep and it was GLORIOUS! All other nights this week saw no more than 4 hours each. Tonight is the latter type.

The IlkeFam went on a really long trip. We drove from Portland to Minneapolis to Milwaukee and Chicago and back again. Just about three weeks away. Luca is 9 months old today. He's more and more like a little kid than a baby and its just crazy! Still uber smiley and happy. But dudes...

Just took a break from working and went downstairs to find the nanny in her bra (trying to change Luca into a new outftil)! LMAO! Apparently Luca both puked all over her AND peed on her! *is having a (private) good laugh* She's an experienced nanny though, and had a change of clothes with her. Shmart.

I love the way Luca's eyes just barely open when we wakes up, and he peers out before moving his body or even his head. It's like he's gotta check out what's happening and see if he really wants to wake up, afterall.
